Empowering young minds to excel academically, socially, and personally, ACE Academy’s youth programs are designed to provide a foundation for lifelong success. From engaging academic enrichment activities to leadership development and mentorship opportunities, our programs foster confidence, creativity, and resilience in young Black men.

ACE Youth Programs
Break Camps
ACE offers camps during mid winter, spring, and summer breaks. The following experiences give students the opportunity to explore the career areas of STEM during mid-winter break and Entrepreneurship during spring break. The Summer Learning Experience (SLE) is an 4-week immersive summer learning program in July. Participants gain academic learning opportunities in social emotional learning, humanities science, and health & wellness. Included with field trips to give the learner a connection from the classroom to the career and workforce.
Eligibility: Black Male Youth | 7th Grade
FAME GAME (Giving Adolescents Mindset Elevation)
Giving Adolescents Mindset Elevation primary focal point is geared towards at-risk young males who are actively living in trauma. Participants receive support and resources to address society challenges of gun violence, community safety, substance abuse, and peer pressure. Participants will gain tools with mentorship guidance and mental health support to become viable world citizens.
Eligibility: Black Male Youth | Ages 14 -24
College Knowledge
College preparation workshops designed for participants to develop and create college portfolios to ease the college admission process. These portfolios will feature personal statement essays, brag sheet/resumes, recommendation letters, transcripts, and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend college tours and resource fairs to learn about potential colleges.
Eligibility: Black Male Youth | Rising High School Juniors and Seniors
Career Pathways
Career connected paid internships in partnership with BIPOC owned businesses and nonprofits. Participants gain skills in job preparation, complete skills assessment, job training, mock interviews, and resume writing. Youth participate in internships giving them valuable work experience and exposure to BIPOC entrepreneurs in the community.

Youth Organizers of Mental Health
Youth Organizers of Mental Health Education (YOMHE)
YOMHE interns develop and facilitate mental health awareness workshops for BIPOC youth in the greater Seattle area. Content includes mental health
resources and also private referrals to culturally competent providers for youth in need.
Pathways to Power (P2P)
P2P interns develop and facilitate civic engagement workshops among BIPOC youth in the Greater Seattle area. Content will encourage youth to become active participants in the democratic process. We work to strengthen our communities by ensuring that every voice is heard and represented in politics.
Peer Mentors
Peer mentors (PM) is an important resource for student development within ACE program break camps. The PM develops a familiarity with ACE goals, services, and endeavors to help students benefit from these services. PMs are expected to serve as role models in the spirit of the code of honor through their words and actions.
Eligibility: Black Male Youth | Ages 16-24 | Returning ACE participants
Mentoring Support
ACE program participants will receive mentoring support that will improve academic achievement, self-esteem, social competence, and avoidance of problem/high-risk behavior by providing a relationship with a caring adult black male who works to help youth achieve their potential. ACE addresses the students’ socio-emotional needs and skill development through sustained contact with a mentor through their entry into ACE and beyond.

ACE will be highlighting young Black men each month as ACE Champions. These are individuals who embody the Values and mission of ACE ACademy.
Each month, we honor individuals who embody ACE Academy’s mission of empowering and uplifting Black Males.
At ACE Academy, we aim to empower young Black men, educators, and BIPOC communities through equitable access to education, leadership development, and cultural representation, fostering success on both a local and global scale.
