Peer Mentors

Peer mentors (PM) is an important resource for student development within ACE program break camps. The PM develops a familiarity with ACE goals, services, and endeavors to help students benefit from these services. PMs are expected to serve as role models in the spirit of the code of honor through their words and actions.

ACE Peer Mentor Interns

Join ACE as we host Middle School Break Camps for 7th grade Black males at our headquarters.

The Mid-Winter Break Camp will focus on Entrepreneurship and take place February 18-21. The Spring Break camp will take place April 14-18 and focus on STEM. Break Camp interns will work camp each day from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Interns will perform a variety of tasks including leading small groups, opening & closing huddles, lunch set up, end of day clean up, staff huddles, and other duties as assigned.

Interns will also take part in weekly planning meetings leading up to each camp on Tuesdays from 4:15 - 5:45 pm. These will be a combination of in person at the ACE Headquarters and virtually on Zoom. Interns will also have tasks to complete between meetings.

The ACE Middle School Break Camp Internships are scheduled to take place January through April and pay $20/hour. We are looking for Black males 16-24 to apply.  Application closed Friday, January 10 at 3:00 pm PST.
