Our annual convening aims to bring together presenters and participants with many different identities, perspectives, and backgrounds from the expanded learning opportunities field, specifically black male educators and other educational personnel of color.

We plan to provide a balanced, diverse program including a majority of workshop presenters identifying as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, professional development workshops from across WA state, and an array of tools and topics for attendees with different roles and levels of experience and expertise.

We will conduct 4 workshops. IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS INTERESTED IN LEADING A WORKSHOP:

We are seeking proposals that offer a high quality and compelling virtual workshops (e.g. clarity of title, description, style and delivery), conference alignment and relevance (with theme and event learning objectives), and racial equity alignment.
