Can I still sign up for ACE FAME Saturdays?

• Yes, ACE FAME Saturdays is on a rolling admission basis.

Are Black Educators only teachers?

• No. This is a common misconception.

  Professors, administrators, researchers, or any other role within the education system are educators too.

  Black Educators bring a unique perspective to the field, drawing on their own cultural experiences and knowledge to better connect with and support Black students.

  Black Educators may also work to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the education system as a whole.

Do you need to be an educator to join the cafe?

• Yes, but remember “Educators” are many things. (see above)

What is the purpose of Educator Cafe?

• ACE Educator Cafe purpose is to help guide and support Black Educators.

When is the next Educators cafe?

• The next Educator Cafe is tbd, but we typically have events and virtual meetings once a month.

What is the purpose of Parent Cafe?

• ACE Parent Cafe purpose is to help guide and support Black Parents. Providing support and resources on how they can be the best parents they can possibly be.

What exactly is FAME GAME?

• FAME is an acronym that stands for Family, Academics, Motivation and Environment. GAME is and acronym as well and stands for Giving, Adolescents, Mindset and Elevation.
